Oso puts security in the hands of the makers by representing security as code. To start, the team recently open-sourced a policy engine and policy language to help developers build authorization into their applications faster. Rather than writing and maintaining custom code, developers write policies using the Oso policy language and offload the heavy lifting to the underlying engine. Oso has already been downloaded thousands of times and launched into production.
